Dear Father,
The world is so disconnected from their origins. Many people can no longer recognise the source of the food they eat and to make matters worse – they forget to respect the earth.
Numbers 35:33-34
You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it. You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, for I the Lord dwell in the midst of the people of Israel.”
Some people think earth is dirt. People do not realise their duty to do preserve the environment.
Ezekiel 34:18
Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture; and to drink of clear water, that you must muddy the rest of the water with your feet?
I want to pray for an awakening, a personal realisation of every human being on a global scale. Remove this blind ignorance O Lord.
Proverbs 19:2
Desire without knowledge is not good, and whoever makes haste with his feet misses his way.
Give all humans an opportunity to plant a seed and watch the miracles of how it can grow into a tree that provides shelter or a plant that provides sustenance. Allow each person to stick their hands into the earth and heal their inner wounds.
Revelation 22:2
down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
Please create opportunities for personal growth and remove the self-entitled attitude that we so often have to witness, even amongst fellow Christians. Reign them in Father, give us humility and self-awareness. Remind everyone to be more polite and help us see how much better live can be when we are all mindful to one another.
